From 21 November to 14 December VOUS ETES ICI has a special exhibition: The Multiple Show.
Each artist in the show made 5 works which all have unique characteristics.
Since 1990 Francis Boeske and Hans Gieles have published under the name of their imprint VOUS ETES ICI over 70 editions in co-operation with more than 50 artists. The artists are invited based on strong affinity with the work. An invitation is always based on a proposal for the special use of a specific technique.
This way of working resulted in well known series, like The Langcat - Series , for which works were made in the tradition of the old-fashioned enamel commercial billboard, The Blind Faith - Series , where the use of invisible ink plays an important role in the artistic process and The Silkscreams , a series of silk-screen prints where the artistic challenge lies in the large size of them, approximately 160 x 120 cm.
Editions of VOUS ETES ICI have been purchased by the collections of internationally known institutions like the Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin, the Stedelijk Museum voor Moderne Kunst, Amsterdam, the New York Public Library and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
